What is Lailat al Qadr?
Lailat al Qadr is known as the ‘Night Of Power’ and it is the day the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) by Allah (SWT)
What is the importance of Lailat al Qadr?
The Quran says this night is better than a thousand months (97:3) and that on this night the angels descend to Earth.
When is the night of Lailat al Qadr?
Lailat al Qadr takes place during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
What do people do during the last 10 days of Ramadan?
During the last 10 days people do the following things:
- Try to read the Quran
- Spend each night praying Namaz
- Ask for foregiveness
- Do dua’s
